A very impressive Scottish antique sterling silver salver with pierced/openwork rim sitting on 3 pierced legs, hallmarked from Edinburgh in 1843 with the makers mark being that of Marshall & Sons. The cental family crest is that of the Annesley family of Ireland as far as we have been able to determine and probably a family of note as entries in Fairbairns book of crests mentions Viscount, the crest is that of a moor. In excellent order, of good weight and measures 275mm in diameter.
