1949 Silver SCOTTISH Brooch Thistle Design & Amethyst Faceted Cut Glass #LVT

This is a vintage Scottish sterling silver pin brooch with a nice thistle flower design in the centre. There is a large amethyst faceted cut glass stone as the body of the flower. It is hallmarked for Glasgow 1949 with maker's mark WBs for Ward Bros. Please see close-up photographs provided for more details and visual confirmation of condition for yourself.

Normal signs of age and use wear. My stock ref : LVT March 23 in jewellery bag #LVT23.

Scale is usually an English 1 penny coin which is 20mm in diameter which is just short of 7/8ths of an inch in diameter, or a universal Coke can, and we all know how big those are.
