19th C. SCOTTISH BANDED AGATE & STERLING SILVER WAX SEAL / DOCUMENT STAMP

This listing is for a excellent 19th Century Scottish banded agate and Sterling Silver wax seal or document stamp. This nice wax seal is made of Sterling Silver with a Scottish banded agate stone handle. The silver has an embossed design with oval seal matrix that has not been used. The silver is unmarked, however, it is guaranteed to be Sterling Silver as described.

This lovely wax seal is in excellent Estate condition with nice original patina on the silver. There are no noted problems with this item.

Measures 2 7/8" high with the oval seal measuring 3/4" long. Have been in the Antiques business for over 30 years and try to describe our items as accurately as possible.
