Amazing Hjaltasteyn Sterling & Enamel Pendant Necklace 30 Chain Silver Scottish

RARE BEAUTIFUL HJALTASTEYN LTD LARGE ENAMEL PENDANT NECKLACE. A fabulous pendant necklace from Hjaltasteyn Ltd, which is a branch of Shetland Silvercraft.

Shetland Silvercraft was founded in the 1950s and their Hjaltasteyn range focuses on enamelled jewellery and is inspired by Scotland's northern neighbours - Norway, Denmark, Finland and Sweden. It is fully hallmarked, HJ, Edinburgh, sterling silver and date letter'S' for 1992. The pendant is beautiful, a diamond-square shape with a sort of stained glass style enamelling in blue and black. 4.8cm long by 4cm wide. It is on a vintage, long and heavy belcher chain, approx.

A fantastic, modernist Scottish piece. The pendant and chain are both vintage, but they are in very good condition. There's no damage to the enamel, it is in excellent condition.
