Antique (1885) Scottish Agate &Sterling Silver Heart Padlock Clasp? OFFERS

Very delicate and in great condition. This small sterling heart shows padlock has been researched and is now listed for sale because I simply do not wear it. Agate has beautiful stripes as per photos. THE FIRST FIFTEEN PHOTOS ARE OF ITEM FOR SALE. The others, are where it has been researched and compared.

The heart is also known as a Mourning Heart. The hinge is very delicate, may need to be pinched together, but opens and end fits snugly into hole to complete lock. Do not wrench open, it's an antique and should be handled with care and respect.

There is the smallest indentation in the silver pattern side, almost impossible to see unless scrutinized, tried to get an angular shot, but doesn't show. I know the value of this and invite offers. Open to queries which will respond to within 24 hours.

Have cleaned as carefully as possible with a silver cloth. This item will not be offered for much less than this revived listing. HAS TO SELL BEFORE MAY AS RELOCATING.
