ANTIQUE 1900s VICTORIAN SCOTTISH STERLING SILVER AGATE FACETED AMETHYST BROOCH

Antique Scottish Celtic Shield Silver Gemstone Brooch c1900 We are offering a really lovely antique Scottish or Celtic brooch. This beautiful pin features a sterling silver setting and a large, faceted, prong set amethyst stone. Additionally, the stone is surrounded by six crescent or half-moon shaped agate gemstones. There is delicate etching in the silver setting to enhance the overall beauty of the piece. The brooch is marked sterling silver on the back.

It has an old "C" clasp closure and measures approximately 1-1/2"W X 1/4"H. It weighs 9.1 grams and is in very good condition.
