Antique Hallmarked sterling silver vesta case Scottish agate Birmingham 1902

If you would like a cheaper price contact me to discuss discount. A sterling silver vesta case set with Scottish polished agate pebbles with a thistle design. This Vesta is a very gorgeous engraved relief style Vesta case/ box 1902.

It has the very tactile shape which sits beautifully in the hand. It is clearly fully hallmarked.

The hinge is strong, has a snap shut closing action & the lid has a nice tight fit when closed. The gold gilt wash on the interior is another sign of its stunning high quality. The recessed strike plate is in excellent condition which is rebated on the base of the case. The case is finished with a hinge pin, loop & jump ring for attachment to a fob & Albert chain.

It is a highly desirable Vesta case which would compliment any high quality collection. The vesta great condition, you will struggle to find one in better condition, just one small hairline crack on the bottom right stone, hardly noticeable but mentioned for true accuracy. This beautifully designed RECTANGULAR Vesta is in'SUPERB CONDITION' being free from dings, dents, holes & repairs. When I really studied the stones I saw one hairline crack on the bottom right which considering the item is 122 years old is amazing.
