Antique Scottish Carved Agate Panel Bracelet Silver Mounts & Padlock Closure

Antique Scottish Silver & Agate Bracelet. A late 19th century Scottish bracelet with carved agate and hardstone panels. The panels are mounted with sterling silver with chain links between.

The closure is in the style of a padlock with ananthus chased detail to one side and an agate panel to the other. The closure is a lever type hook with indent which you squeeze gently and then hinge outwards. There are no marks which is normal for these items of this period and the metal tests as sterling grade silver.

The panels include banded agates and banded carnelian. Width : 21.6mm (centre panel). Material : Sterling silver / agate. Weight: 27.78 grams (before packing).

Some minor wear and scratches to the metal as you would expect. Some slight chips and nibbles to the edges of the panels but nothing significant as you can see from the images.
