Antique Scottish Sterling Silver Quaich - 1923 Brook & Sons Edinburgh 280g. A beautiful, 1923, Scottish silver hallmarked quaich dish of plain polished circular form with footed base and twin Arts and Crafts shaped handles made by the Edinburgh silversmiths Brook & Sons. A stunning piece of Scottish silver workmanship, fully hallmarked'Brook & Sons', with Edinburgh castle assay office stamp, a thistle, and a date letter'S' for 1923. It's also stamped to the base'Brook & Son, 87 George Street, Edinburgh'. One side has been engraved. Considering this quaich dish is 100 years old it's in beautiful original condition, with no splits or dents. Has a slight scuff underneath one of the handles (see last photo).
