Antique Scottish Thistle Brooch Sterling Silver Amethyst 1875 Birmingham C&N

This is an absolutely exquisite Antique Scottish Thistle Bar Brooch Pin! This impressive petite brooch is Victorian original Period.

It was handcrafted by a master utilizing Sterling Silver & Amethyst. It is profusely and legibly hallmarked. The hallmarking places the origin Birmingham England Circa 1875.

The C&N maker's mark is attributed to Crisford & Norris. This minutely detailed brooch was fashioned to resemble Scottish Thistle. It has been set with a Briolette cut & faceted Amethyst "flower". It is about 1&3/4 inches length.

The shepherds crook c clasp & bar stop refinements are wonderful. This set weighs 2.48 grams. The condition is all original fabulous Estate unaltered except light polishing. Complimentary Polishing & gift packaging is available upon request!
