Gorgeous Scottish Montrose Agate Brooch PIn. Blue agate from Montrose, in the East of Scotland. Queen Victoria made this type of jewellery popular, with her love of all things Scottish when she and Prince Albert bought Balmoral Castle. Set in silver, made in around 1860, later adapted to be worn as a pendant if so wished.
