Antique Silver Victorian Novelty Sporran Ladies Purse Scottish Miniature

Unmarked Scottish silver C1870 Miniature Sporran, to be worn at a Scottish Highland ball perhaps, perhaps to hold a sovereign or coin. Narrow slot at the top. Has a missing Scottish quartz stone missing to the front that could easily be replaced.

Beautifully engraved with a thistle to the front and a decorative border. The way the hair has been raised and engraved into the silver is amazing, a little master piece. Such a special wee piece for a collector, never seen another.

Measures including finger loop 11cm top to bottom. Box not included this is a photographic prop.
