Antique Solid STERLING SILVER Sports Trophy CLYDESDALE Scottish ROWING Club 1909

Interesting old sporting trophy, a rowing trophy from the Clydesdale Amateur Rowing Club. The club the largest rowing club in Scotland. The goblet bears the silver hallmarks for Sheffield, 1909.

It is approximately 6 1/8 inches tall and weighs about 137 grams. It is in good condition apart from a shallow dent about 1 inch wide on the back of the cup which could be pressed out by a silversmith/repairer.
