Antique sterling silver, Scottish agate and Citrine brooch 1870

Here we have a lovely antique example of a sterling silver, Citrine and Scottish agate brooch. In beautiful condition, the central Citrine is in a claw crown setting. The back of the brooch is stamped with a hallmark which I have deciphered as 22 day of April 1870. These brooches where made popular by Queen Victoria as she favoured this style of jewellery.
