The overall aesthetics and craftsmanship of the antique Scottish piece is beautiful! Scottish agate jewellery was made popular again in the nineteenth century due to Queen Victoria adorning Scottish jewellery and her frequent visits to her Scottish Castle Balmoral. A rare bonnie brooch which carries oodles of Scottish sentiment.
Perfect for the avid Scottish collector! Natural (8) Scottish jasper and agate stones.
7.20cm (2.83" inches) long x 4.40cm (1.74"inches) height. The condition of the piece is excellent. Besides normal wear the brooch remains in superb condition with stones all secure and no major chips visible. There is a slight abrasion near the end of one agate segment though likely originates from the beginning.
