Antique Victorian Scottish silver musket brooch

A stunning antique Victorian era Scottish sterling silver musket or rifle brooch. It is a large and highly detailed piece, the front is engraved with aesthetic style swirls of foliate. It has an articulated belt strap hung at the bottom of the brooch suspended from rings. It is an interesting and attractive piece would also make a great scarf pin given its long width.

The brooch has an old c type clasp fastener and pin. Unmarked, tests as sterling silver, c1870s. Good used condition overall, a few tiny dings and an overall aged patina.
