Presenting a magnificent antique sterling silver Scottish Aberdeen granite brooch. This exceptional piece is composed of four segments of natural Aberdeen granite stone arranged to form the round-shaped brooch. The alternating segments display contrasting colourations, with gorgeous salmon pink tones appearing to two of the pieces and marbled charcoal and grey to the additional stones.

The stones are beautifully inset within a sterling silver rope twist edged setting. This fine example is presented in excellent antique condition, with no breaks, losses or repairs.

The stones are securely set. The original pin and simple c-clasp remain in place.

This superb piece has been very well cared for and present spectacularly. This exquisite brooch measures 45mms in diameter. This is an unmarked example with the silver element testing to sterling grade. There is a mark engraved into the reverse side of the stones, as indicated in the images. Like all timeless classics, this quality handcrafted example remains just as appealing as when it was first produced and will never go out of style.
