For sale is an antique victorian period Sterling Silver penannular brooch featuring a Scottish thistle design and engraved leaves. The brooch measures 4 cm (1.57 inches) in width at its widest point, 7.5 cm (2.95 inches) in length including the pin, and weighs a total of 8.28 grams. Due to its age this brooch is unmarked but has been tested and confirmed to be made from 92.5% sterling grade silver. Please be aware that this is an antique item and so it will display wear commensurate with previous use. This includes light scratches and indentations.

In addition the main pin has a historic repair and has been hard soldered in place (image 4 & 8). Overall a beautiful antique silver penannular brooch in excellent wearable condition.
