Attractive LARGER Scottish Silver Orkney Brooch Ola Gorie 1970s MEASHOWE DRAGON

This is a sterling silver Orkney brooch from Scotland and is in very condition with beautiful modernist design of the MEASHOWE DRAGON c. 1970s - LARGER size 48mms x 47mms with locking clasp weighing 14.7 grams - stamped "Silver" and is a design made famous by Orkney silversmith Ola Gorie - also stamped "OLA" makers mark - tests sterling silver. Carved by Viking visitors a thousand years ago on the wall of Orkney's great Neolithic monument, Maeshowe.
