Rare and very collectable Antique GEORGE III Sterling Solid Silver Soup, Stew or Serving Ladle, made in PERTH, SCOTLAND in C1791/1825 making this approx a 233 Year old Antique Treasure. Fully hallmarked for ROBERT KEAY I. 4 X RK AND 3 DOUBLE HEADED EAGLES known working dates 1791 to 1825. The Ladle is Huge 34cm/13.5 inches Long, and weighs a very hefty 239 gms, it is of the FIDDLE or OAR PATTERN, it is not monogrammed or engraved in any way, although the ladle is big it has a very elegant feel to it. The Hallmarks are very crisp and clear, the ladle is made of a very good gauge of silver.
The condition is very good Antique condition for a spoon that is 233 years old it has very little wear to the bowl, a nice polished finish, no repairs or damage, surface scratches commensurate with age, it has been used, a very collectable item of SCOTTISH PROVINCIAL PERTH silver that would grace any collection.
