Hamilton Inches Edinburgh Scottish Sterling Silver Burner Stand Antique 1800s

An antique Victorian era sterling silver warmer stand and burner produced in Edinburgh, Scotland by Hamilton & Inches. Four footed octagonal stand and burner mount. Simple round burner with hinged snuffer lid. 3"h x 5.5"l x 5.5w, burner approx.

2"h x 1.75"dia. In good antique condition, generally displaying only light surface wear and tarnish consistent with age/use, as well as a couple subtle dents to the burner and some roughness/distortion to the burner's top edge - see pictures. Burner is not currently working. Both burner and stand are stamped with Edinburgh three tower, sterling Thistle, letter "S" (1899), and "H&M" hallmarks.
