This is a vintage LARGE \early sterling silver St. Ninians Isle brooch from Shetland Islands , Scotland - in good condition - has had a locking clasp - size is 44mms x 40mms approx. Two brooches available - both fully hallmarked for Edinburgh 1963 and 1965. Made by Shetland Silver and stamped "SS" makers mark.
