NORMAN GRANT Hologram Bee Honeycomb Brooch Hallmark Scottish Sterling Silver

A lovely and very unusual Norman Grant brooch. A circular crystal glass hologram of a honeycomb with a silver frame and applied bees. It measures 4.2cm in diameter. This has a nice set of hallmarks, that show the'NG' for Norman Grant, then Scottish hallmarks with a lion, a castle and I think it's an'O' denoting 1988.

The condition of this is excellent but it has been lovingly used. Please see the photos for true representation. The silver on the reverse has a few marks I think probably from the time of manufacture. A few marks from wear. The glass is perfect without scratches or flaws.

The pin and catch again in perfect working order. Best worm against something dark to show the hologram off at its best.
