Pair of Scottish sterling silver planished 3/4 pint beakers / tankards Edi 1970

A pair of heavy planished Scottish silver 3/4 pint tankards. One of them has a presentation inscription which reads. From Robert M Waugh B Sc (Hort).

Margaret a member of the administration. Staff of the college during the same period. Two silver beakers made to a Scottish pattern. For them in 1971 by R Crouch Esq. Hallmarked in Edinburgh in 1970/71.

Maker: R E C (this seems to be the silversmith who gifted the tankards). Dimensions: Height 105mm Diameter at top 87mm.
