Rare Victorian Silver Scottish Huge Rock Crystal & Foiled Crystal Brooch Beauty

A rare and stunning antique Victorian Scottish rock crystal brooch pin. With an incredible and huge central rock crystal that is 4.5cm diameter!

This is a totally unique and splendid piece, a cloak pin perhaps. With a large silver (tested) openwork frame, a swagged claw setting holding the huge central stone. Around the outside there are six foiled crystals in closed back bezel mounts, raised on stems. Citrine, Peridot and Amethyst stones, with foils that light the colour from within.

The central rock crystal is so bright and clean, not a scratch or nibble to be seen. There is a number etched on the mount, and the back is fitted with a steel pin and open c clasp.
