Rare Vintage George V1 Coronation Sterling Silver Scottish Agate Brooch c1937

A rare vintage sterling silver brooch to commemorate the 1937 Coronation of George V1. Unusually, this is a Scottish made souvenir to celebrate the crowning of the new King. I cannot find a comparable piece. Features an openwork design with the heads of George V1 and Queen Elizabeth in silver; the border of the brooch has 6 inlaid crescent shaped slices of natural Scottish agate. Tube hinge, pin and'c' catch to fasten.
