Beautiful rare Scottish hand made silver targe/shield or cross shape brooch by James C. Kerr of Lerwick, Shetland Isles. Large circular brooch is signed on the back'J. Silver' and comes with original vintage hard case leather covered box. 1 7/8th inches x 1 7/8th inches and has beautiful silversmithing hammer dot detail. Lovely collectors piece weighs 12 grams. Any red reflection in pics is from camera flash, pics don't do it justice. These items are in their original condition and uncleaned/unpolished.
