Scottish Celtic Cai Iona Sterling Silver Sea Monster Pin Brooch Scotland Vintage

This is a vintage Scottish Iona Celtic sterling silver pin or brooch. This stunning pin features a grotesque sea monster or dragon in the Celtic manner. It is marked "CAI IONA Scotland Sterling", for the Celtic Arts Industries whose artisans carried on the traditions of the famed Alexander Ritchie starting in the 1940s. 3 oz (11 gr) on my little scale. It is in very good condition, with normal signs of use and some tarnish. There are no dings, dents or bends, and the clasp is in good working order. The dark areas you see are reflections from my camera.
