Scottish Silver Brooch Badge h/m 1948 Medlock & Craik Clan Johnstone Johnston

This is an early attractive Scottish sterling silver clan brooch from Scotland - in super condition with detailed design for the Johnstone or Johnston clan - size approx 36mms x 30mms with early "C" clasp. The brooch is stamped with Edinburgh hallmark for 1948 so approx 73 years old. The clan motto as it appears on this badge translates to "Never Unprepared". The Johnstones were a border reiver clan and were based in the Scottish borders.
