This is a fabulous silver Iona brooch from Scotland hallmarked for 1937 in Edinburgh with makers mark "S&Co" for Shipton & Co. Who manufactured many Iona pieces for Alexander Ritchie - in super condition with beautiful detailed celtic design plus mystical beasts - size 40mms in diameter with firm early "C" clasp.
