Scottish Stg. Silver Brooch Pat Cheney / John Ditchfield Glass Trees 1980s

This is a superb Scottish silver and glass brooch - in super condition with beautiful detailed design showing trees c. 1980s - size is approx 40mms in diameter with locking clasp. This is stamped with 925 for sterling silver and the design was made famous by Pat Cheney using John Ditchfield glass - also stamped with makers mark "PPC". The glass is a solid colour when lifted to the light the glass bottom area is lighter as per photos - this is one of several designs to incorporate features from nature.
