THE PENDANT IS A LARGE PEAR SHAPED OUTER SECTION, WITH A CUT OUT CENTE. A GREEN BANDED AGATE SET IN SILVER IS SUSPENDED FROM THE OUTER SECTION. WITH A WEIGHTY CURB LINK STERLING SILVER CHAIN OF VERY GOOD QUALITY. THE PENDANT MEASURES ABOUT 50 X 27 MM. 2" X 1 1/16" INCLUDING THE FIXED BALE.
THE CURB LINK CHAIN IS 410 MM, 16 LONG. A STRIKING PIECE AND, I THINK, QUITE RARE. FULLY HALLMARKED FOR STERLING SILVER. ASSAYED IN EDINBURGH IN 1976.
