Victorian Handmade, Silver, Citrine & Agate 5-Petal Flower, Scottish Brooch

Victorian, silver, handmade Scottish Brooch featuring a centre faceted citrine stone and 5 different color agate stones in an open 5 petal flower design. The centre round faceted citrine measures 1/2"(1.3cm) in diameter while the diameter of the brooch is 2"(5cm). Each of the silver petals is accented with a different color agate. The brooch measures 1/2(1.3cm) in depth and has a total weight of 16.9 grams.

This lovely brooch tests as silver and on the rear is marked A. As noted in the photos the mounting holding the citrine is slightly out of round on the rear of the brooch. Additionally the rear pin and clasp are not original and do not test as silver. The rear of the brooch has a mark where a safety chain had formerly been attached.
