A very ornate large silver Scottish plaid brooch set with an oval faceted amethyst stone at the top, two circular faceted amethyst stones and a pear shaped faceted amethyst stone at the bottom, also set with two. Large oval faceted black onyx stones, the stones are beautifully mounted and bordered in lovely marcasite settings. A very lovely Vintage brooch.

The brooch is stamped with the word Vintage and also stamped Sterling and with the maker. Or sponsors mark which looks like J.
