VINTAGE SCOTTISH IONA SILVER & AMETHYST BROOCH. This is a fine sterling silver circular. Brooch with a large centrally mounted cut amethyst.

The silversmith is the renowned John Hart who produced jewellery at the Scottish Island of Iona. The silver is well stamped' IONA', an Edinburgh hallmark and dated 1961. A large fixing pin and rotating c-clasp are attached to the reverse for security. Please have a look at all of the photographs to appreciate the workmanship. Diameter of brooch - 4.0 cm.
